The Leela Palace in Chennai is an exceptional hotel. Beautiful setting, attentive staff, clean and fantastic food options. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with two young children - Raj from the Butler team was brilliant as well as the chefs Anjan, Bunuma and their teams. The only thing that would have made this even better would have been more things for young children to do eg a games room however they were very content with the beautiful pool

Rita and Riya were both excellent hostesses. They truly looked after all of my whims. They were both incredibly family and polite. Mr Ajit, the duty manager helped out when i has travelled away and left my passport at the hotel. He then orchestrated a safe retrieval of my passport. I must say i am astounded by the standards of this hotel. I would not hesitate to return here if i ever visited chennai again.

Room was beautiful and ocean view great. Housekeeping staff from all cleaners to chief butler Raj Singh were excellent keeping room well stocked with bottled water and room amenities. The only negative to the room was a slight mildew odor that attached to all my clothes that hung in the walk-in closet during my10 day stay. All needed laundered upon arrival at home even those that had been laundered at hotel for return home.

This was a beautiful stay with very quiet and serene environment. The breakfast and dinner buffets at Spectra were the highlight for us. The staff was very helpful throughout our stay. We had an excellent stay at this hotel, thanks to the outstanding service from all the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and genuine hospitality that made us feel at home. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view of the ocean. However, the bathroom could use a little more attention to maintenance — for example, the shower and toilet doors could close more smoothly, and the blinds could be dusted more regularly. The highlight of our stay was without doubt the restaurant. The food selection and quality were exceptional, and the service was attentive and personal. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely return.
