The room itself was good, but noisy day and night and do not disturb signs (2) on door meant nothing to staff. There is a bar on the ground floor and part of the hotel is being remodeled. We were woken up each morning by a phone call reminding us that breakfast was at the same time, in the same place, every day. There is no fireplace, which is in the description. Staff came to the room on the last morning at 11:15 to tell us we needed to check out now, which is listed as 12:00. Someone read through a newspaper in our room while we were out, stole some candy and left some of the candy on the floor, very weird.

From the time we booked our hotel to the time we checked out, the hotel staff provided excellent service to my family members and myself despite being a 3 star hotel. When i booked my stay with urvashi residency, i contacted and liaise with the staff through whatsapp which made our communication easy, since i stay away from india. Staff were very accomdative towards our needs before checking in and when we were staying there. They even checked on us via whatsapp if we've landed safely, as our flight was delayed. They even gave us a free upgrade to an execetive room since we had an additional person staying with us at a last minute. Location was perfect for shopping. Walking distance to both pondy bazaar and main shopping area in T Nagar. Good eatery nearby hotel, open till late. Pics shown in Expedia page is true. Breakfast variety is limited, but very tasty food and good service. Housekeeping is good. Trustworthy. Ramesh helped us with our baggages and showed us our room. Kumari liaise with us through whatsapp and was very detailed. Amalesh kumar best service in the hotel during breakfast. Will definitely stay there again and recommend to others. Hope they continue to maintain their current standards or improve better.

Check-in was fast. Lobby looked classic. Lift was small & slow. Corridor to room needs to hv brighter lightings. Housekeeping & Room service needs improvement in terms of service. Bar at lower ground needs service improvement.
