"After a few noisy rooms in past (rooms under flight path, looking over railway, roadway, next to gym) I was giving this hotel one last go, as everything else is great. Lucky this time as got a very quiet room, after requesting change from one looking over railway. Fabulous bed, bathroom and linen. Club room well worth it as fully free bar for 2 hours in evening with substantial fresh and cooked buffet in lounge, all included, and amazing breakfast spread. They don’t explain benefits of club room well enough on Hotels.com. Spa is also great, free to use sauna , jacuzzi etc. Extraordinary architecture and finish. Pool area could improve with a drinks service. All staff are so polite and helpful. Immaculate throughout. "

"I have stayed in all five stars in Chennai many times and Hyatt always best for comfort, staff attention and service. Special thanks to reception staff for excellent check in and ensuring quiet room as requested. Perfect sleep and great breakfast and also enjoyed spa and pool. Just wish they didn’t blare pop music in garden at breakfast time. Lotus pond is special area and gentle traditional Indian music would be more in keeping in morning, Bring earplugs to breakfast if you don’t want loud pop music at 8am! That aside I highly recommend this hotel over both the Leela Palace and ITC Chola. "

"I had a wonderful 4-night stay at Grand Continent Hotel, T Nagar. The location is perfect—just a short walk from some of Tnagar’s most popular shopping spots, making it ideal for both relaxation and retail therapy. The room was clean and comfortable, with a very cozy bed that ensured a great night’s sleep. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, which was a big plus for me. One of the highlights of the stay was the breakfast buffet spread—it was delicious, varied, and well-prepared, with something to suit every taste. A great way to start each day! Special thanks to the exceptional staff—Archana, Ashiq, Suman, Vijay, and Bala—who were always warm, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. I highly recommend Grand Continent Hotel and will definitely return on my next visit to Chennai! "

The staff are friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I definitely recommend this place for a comfortable and affordable stay. Popular areas like T Nagar, Anna Nagar, and Marina Beach are accessible by cab within 40–50 minutes. There’s heavy traffic due to metro construction work. "
