"It's a relatively small room with a bed on a mezzanine level. Stairs are steep to the bed, but fine if you free up on a boat. The tap in the kitchen worked but was not attached to the sink - some plumbing needed. The studio was cleaned, but could do with a lick of paint, especially on the door which looked as though it had been attacked by a mythical creature in a Ben Aaronovitch novel. The people in the room/flat above us were kind enough to ensure we knew we weren't alone, and trekked back...

"Staff were friendly, helpful and installed a portable air conditioner in the room duri g the heat wave for £10 for the night, so worth it. Great size room with kitchen."

"First of all communication and organisation was outstanding, cleanliness was also top drawer, however, even advertised as a Compact Room, it was too small for my wife and I, in fact it was/is the smallest room we’ve ever stayed in and we’re both in our 70s. Neither of us could turn around in the shower and although the bathroom/toilet was immaculately clean, the smell from the drains was appalling! Probably ok for a single person weighing no more than 8 stone…but not for us!"

"Good customer service (I had to extend my stay but change rooms, the cleaning staff moved by baggage between rooms for free). Overall clean and well maintained. The only warning I have is that the heat build up is pretty bad in the rooms and there is no air conditioning, just windows that you can open and a fan provided. I would recommend it for the cooler months but avoid it come mid June through September."

"It was a good location for Lords and Paddington walking. Room was clean enough although we had to complain as no pillowcases on thd bed this was dealt with reasonably efficiently after we called them.Didnt see any staff . Kitchen was okay had all we needed however we didn't think quality was of a very good standard. We couldn't sleep as room was too light and we didn't use the masks provided as they made sleep even less likely. Very low water pressure in the shower . It didn't suit us so...
