"We've been on the road for 11 days, seeing the country. We arrived about 5 pm. It was 87 and sunny. The pool (outdoor) was filled but the chairs were stacked. The desk clerk said the pool was closed. We asked if we could just sit out there and get some sun. We had no desire to swim (sign said "No lifeguard" and "Swim at your own risk"). She called the manager and relayed our request. The manager said no. That was it. So we borrowed 2 straight back chairs from the dining room and sat in the parking lot for a half hour, enjoying the sun and the cars. Real classy joint."

And a big shout out to Carol who was so helpful to someone who didn't know the area. She made it so simple to navigate around town. She even helped me get my brother into the car while I put his walker in the trunk. Once again thank you Carol."
