"The room was clean. The mattress was comfy. The bathroom roomy with nice walk-in shower. The room didn’t have a refrigerator which was a little disappointing because I drink lots of water which I like cold. I also bring protein shakes and such with me. I would stay again. Overall very nice. Close enough to walk to BJCC which was the main goal. "

"The staff was okay at check in. The girl held a conversation about Wendy’s with another worker an barely made any comments towards me about my stay. Went directly to the room and wanted to wash my hands and 2 out of the 3 hand towels had hair in them. The pillows are awful. The shower had very little water pressure and the shower head was not flush against the wall. We had to turn the ac down to about 66 to even get a little air moving. I’m not sure that we will be back, especially with the hair in the towels issue"

"My husband & I were in Birmingham for a concert. We enjoyed our stay at The Painted Lady! We enjoyed the historic building, beautiful bedroom & huge bathroom! "

"Hotel going through renovations, rooms look amazing, A/c heating can be loud when it turns on. The rest of the facilities should be ready soon. "

"I would not recommend this hotel. The elevator was so dirty. Only 1 elevator is currently working. The room wasn’t clean. The shower situation was strange, it didn’t have a shower door so water got all over the floor. The room had a weird smell. The mattress was sunken in and was not comfortable at all. The carpet has big red stains. The mini fridge was fallen in the little hole. I expected a lot more out of this hotel. I was highly disappointed. "

"Couldn't get any answers on WIFI, room was not clean, didn't have any cleaning supplies, paint spots all over floor, common area and elevator floors were really bad. Couldn't use the grill, no knobs or gas."
