"The property was decent but in need of an overhaul to be considered a true resort experience. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. The grounds were picturesque and well maintained, the lobby was welcoming, and staff were generally friendly and helpful. That said, the restaurant had slow service and food was cafeteria quality at best. The process to access the pool area was clunky and the pool towels were small and cheap. The elevator smelled like a basement. Throughout my time, I kept thinking, "this place is just a few good upgrades away from being a really nice resort." It's just not quite there now."

"The hotel was recently renovated and clean and comfortable and roomy. The fact that it had a full fridge and kitchen was great. I travel with my dog and she eats raw, so having a fridge and sink are key. It was a great location and we could walk everywhere in town. Also, close enough to the highway, but far enough away to not be seedy."

"Clean well kept property. Front desk person was so welcoming on arrival and kind to other people too. We didn’t go to the pool/hot tub but it was inviting. Breakfast was decent. And they kept the area clean with plenty of fresh food. We did have the unfortunate experience of a domestic fight on the 3rd floor, very late at night (near midnight), right outside our door. I would not dare open the door for fear of safety. But before I could call 911 it appeared someone else did (perhaps the front desk person) and 2 sheriffs showed up. That took care of the problem. It was unfortunate to lose the needed sleep. No fault of the hotel! I’d stay again for sure but request ground floor to avoid any riff raff."
