"Our room was fine for a 1 night stay but I would not like longer because we had to share a bathroom and as there was not a sink in there he room it made life difficult. People with any mobility problems would find the very narrow windy stairs a big problem . We had a meal which was very well presented and the staff were very friendly and competent. "

"What a truly lovely B&B with the owners James and Katherine being exceptionally helpful and very welcoming. The room was very quaint and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again if we’re in the area."

"Strong WiFi throughout. Plenty of choice for breakfast, although the cooked food was a bit salty for our liking. Bed was firm, with a creak. Non feather bedding, so great for allergies. Bathroom door wasn't keen to stay shut. Room was clean. Great selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate as well as biscuits. Quiet location over the night. Steak and ale pie great, veg pie you needed a spoon to eat the contents with. "
