The place is very good, it is not a 5star hotel, but a solid 3.5-4. If you are looking for a nice clean place, this place it is. I guess they cater to the surfing crowd, rooms are simple, bathroom needs some TLC and they need to add better towels, plus hot water. The restaurant is excellent, the food is good, fresh and plentiful. The staff is friendly and very attentive, they take good care of your needs. Overall, it is a good choice if you don't mind the stuff I mentioned above. Good budged place to spend the weekend.

Excellent hotel and staff! We loved it so much that we extended our stay by 3 days. You've gotta try their Super Nativa burger. I don't know how they did it, but it's the best burger we've ever had 👊 Thanks for making us feel at home!

Mega chill among nice people and good food!

So chill!! We were not thinking more than one night with no TV, no hot water, just the basics would work, but we loved it so much we booked a second night, (and would have stayed on if that were possible). And the free breakfast rocks, and they accommodated to my plant based diet without batting an eye! Everyone is super nice, two beaches right there, (two the left and right), nice local dining options (best vegan bowl at La Palma)...and we ended up going to bed early and waking up early, so nice!

The hotel was very comfortable and we loved the location! The A/C worked wonderful. The restaurant was delicious and pricing was fair! Cons: The bathroom was clean but the water for the shower and the sink was salty water so we weren't able to clean properly. There was also a yoga studio above our head and they started early in the morning which caused some noise. The free wifi was very sparse and only worked part of one day.

Surf's Up at El Zonte's Hidden Gem! If you're looking for the perfect balance of location, tranquility, and a warm, family-run atmosphere, this place is it! Nestled in the heart of El Zonte, this surf-centric haven is where relaxation meets adventure. Now, let’s set some expectations: there’s no hot water (but who needs it in the tropical paradise of El Salvador?), and you won’t find TVs in the rooms (because, honestly, why would you want to miss out on the stunning views and good vibes?). There aren’t any closets or hangers either—just pack light and embrace the laid-back lifestyle! But here’s the kicker: the food at the onsite restaurant is amazing. And as a bonus, there’s a coffee roasting business right on the property, perfect for your morning caffeine fix. Plus, the on-site Spanish school, "Say El Zonte," is super cool and a fantastic way to immerse yourself in the local culture. And of course, because you’re in Bitcoin Beach, you can pay in Bitcoin if you want! Overall, this is a fantastic spot to stay in El Zonte and experience the magic of Bitcoin Beach. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants to unwind, surf, soak in the local flavor and of course explore Bitcoin wave as well.

My only advice would be for the property to have a labelling system for food in the shared fridge - all of our beer was taken by other guests on the first night. Otherwise - love this place and would come again!!
