"The Carlton City Singapore was a great base for 4 nights in the city, being very close to an MRT station. Breakfast is great, and the rooftop bar was a lovely place to unwind after a day of sightseeing with lovely food and drinks. "

"The hotel was beautiful - very nice coffeeshop, restaurants, etc. Loved the pool area and reception level. The room was so inviting to come into out of the heat and just relax. The staff were all lovely. I was able to walk to Marina Bay area - just the Singapore weather can put you off walking too much!! The only slight negative was the hallways to the rooms are a bit dreary but certainly not a big deal. You'd think that having to catch 2 different lifts to your room would be annoying too...

"Pro: Like the simple design of this hotel and the location is convenient for where I needed to go. Room was comfortable. Front office staff were very polite and helpful. Cons: Grout in the bathroom wall needs cleaning. Breakfast is somewhat minimal. Can be improved. There is definitely noise problem at night from the near by bars."
