"Everything was perfect! The location was perfect, not too far from things to do by yet far enough that we were away from the bustle in Helen GA.
The owner made sure we were comfortable and happy when we arrived with a text message. The next morning when we were leaving for the day, she introduced herself to make sure we had everything we needed.
I was surprised how nice the room was, the pictures didn't do it justice. It was large, and with an area for the bed, dining room and living room...
"This hotel is at the far end of the town, so it was a bit far to walk to the downtown area. It is, however located across from a Waterpark and the Festhall where the Oktoberfest celebration starts. Outdoor pool available. Breakfast was homemade waffles, etc... overall, good experience."
"Let me say this is remote. Not a few miles from town. Bring supplies with you. No wifi or tv. If you have T-Mobile you will not have service. My husband has Verizon and had service the whole time. This is why we stayed here though. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Lots of fireflies too. Communication with Anna was fantastic. Everything was super clean, inside and out. My husband and I had a great getaway. I chose this place not only for remote but it was 45 min in any direction to what we were...

"Convenient downtown location, comfortable furnishings, classic decor, and eclectic character. This place has it all. We enjoyed the Mason room for 2 nights and were very pleased with everything. The inn keeper, Mike, is a great guy and was very communicative.
Just be advised that many of the rooms are on the 2nd floor and accessible by a narrow staircase only. Also the beautiful wood floors are creaky in spots but thats part of the eclectic charm of the building.

"Excellent location, safe and quiet. Dog friendly with a dog park right next to the river. On the pricey side for bringing your dog as they charge per day and not a one time charge. Everything in Helen is easy walking distance for shopping and dinning. "
