"The room smelled like smoke eventhough it was a non-smoking room. Half the lights in the room didn't work. The light in the bathroom flickered and eventually went off. Mold in the bathroom due to fan not working. The handle in the bath tub was falling off. The sink and tub plugs were missing. The phone in the room was disconnected. The TV remote didn't work. The hot tub was cold. The continental breakfast was not set up by 7am on the weekend with no staff in sight. I'm not sure if there even was a breakfast because we left right at 7am after not seeing anyone. "

"This was our first time staying at an Avid hotel and we will definitely be back! The lobby is spacious & we were greeted by friendly staff. Our room was clean and smelled fresh! It was overall pretty quiet, only heard some doors occasionally closing which is to be expected, but overall pretty quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was very good with a great selection of items. We only stayed one night, but it was enjoyable. Plenty of shopping and restaurants near by if needed. Quick access to I24 and only about 15-20 minutes from the airport. "

"Clean room. Big, new TV. All renovated. Lots of hot water. Soft bed. I didn't have breakfast as they were renovating the area, but the new look was really sharp."
