"The building and the staff were great! Such a cute property and a really nice room. Only downside was that it was pretty loud due to traffic noise outside (and an early morning party in the parking lot next door). But the staff and amenities were really top notch, and breakfast was very tasty both days!"

"The staff were excellent when we came to stay before and following our cruise. The port is a wonderful viewed walking distance from this hotel. The hotel is located in a safe space and within walking distance to so many restaurants and fun activities. It was so great, my kids have asked for us to actually go and plan a stay specifically there and in Norfolk for a few days! Thank you for the hospitality and comfortable stay! Staff went above and beyond and it was just a great stay!"

Had to call desk for towels, coffee Outdoor area could be improved….. many chairs had no cushions Location is so nice but for $529 a night, we expect more!! Staff was very nice."

"The Norfolk Hotel is poorly managed and overdue for renovation. The large lobby air conditioning has not worked in over a year per the staff. The bistro Cafe was closed to to broken equipment. The paint was peeling in the bathroom where previous water leaks had been. My room was on cleaned 1 time for a 3 night visit. No free coffee in common areas as advertised. Hallway carpets were covered in stains. For $715 per night I was extremely disappointed. Avoid this hotel at all cost."

"Stayed 10 days for work - Food was terrible Carpets in hallways have years of stain - at least the 6th floor On 6th floor the ice machine was broke apart and flooding - also this is dumping zone for trash so cross contamination w/ ice mist likely Had to ask for a microwave Police called once for disturbance but should have come more than that (more on this) Back door completely broken - anyone can come in and that is usually where people smoke weed Room didn’t have shampoo You will hear...

"I've been going there since in of April or beginning of May since 2025 and honestly it's quite, nice size rooms,nice size T.V.. Good spot for food options if you like McDonald's l, Wendy's,Taco Bell Wawa, honestly the Hardee's ain't all that MF's had one job SMH. The hotel has good and Kind Staff, but I have to say the one guest thing is a bit disappointing I mean at least three guests hell just do two guest and see how it goes. My fiance son couldn't come see her because of the one guest...

"The room was dirty. The bathroom was very dirty. Towels were dirty. The bedclothes were ripped and did not look clean. Location does not look safe. The overall experience was terrible. Will never stay here again and does not recommend unless you are working in the area and do not care about cleanliness."

"No breakfast there at all despite it being listed. Morning checkout wasn't helpful. Room was dirty and blankets were paper-thin. The only good part was the person at nighttime checking was nice and answered any questions we had."
