This ossuary in the catacombs of the Monastery of Saint Francis (Convento de San Francisco) is estimated to be 10 meters deep full of bones. The catacombs were in use during the 17th to 19th centuries and contain around 70,000 remains of the people of Lima, Peru. The Monastery and Cathedral are part of the Historic Center of Lima which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
