  • Young Red Colobus Monkey. Day trips to Jozani are very straight forward. In Stone Town, tours can be booked at the old fort. November is storm season, but it is also Spring here, so there are lots of young creatures around. You have to take a local guide from the Forest information centre and you get walked through the forest. This is not a bad thing, as there are a load of side paths and no signage, so I think getting lost would be pretty straight forward. The other good thing about a network of guides on the ground, is that they find the monkeys easily, meaning you get to spend more time with them, rather than looking for them.

This place sucks!!!!

It was not good in fact it sucked. The food was awful,the manager was also awful. Under construction loud and noisy. Piles of sand everywhere. You could barely see the beach. Brown mold on the walls. So unhappy with this we checked out early they wouldn't give me my money back. Hotels you would not refund my money. So you suck also will never do business with again. Thanks for nothing. You ruined my holiday.😡

Wir wurden umgebucht in das Filao Beach Resort, da das Antonio Beach Hotel geschlossen war - es wurde allerdings nichts bzgl. Preisdifferenz kommuniziert etc. Man hat uns Free of Charge vom AP abgeholt - aber nur auf mein Nachfragen. Den Rücktransport mussten wir selbst bezahlen. Das Filao Beach ist eine einfach Unterkunft, welche uns aber sehr gut gefallen hat - sensationelles Essen, sehr nettes und freundliches Personal. Uns gefällt das ursprüngliche, auch die Ebbe und Flut am Strand. Weit weg von den vielen anderen Touristen. Vielen Dank wir werden Zanzibar bald wieder besuchen. Liebe Grüße Heike&Martin
