"A big surprise. We were hoping for a simple clean room for the night and was greeted with a SPACIOUS room with firm bed, clean everything, nice bath and wonderful Spa (which we didn’t have time to use), pool and bar restaurant. A nice treat. Only (minor) tick down was either poorly maintained or in-process renovation of outdoor walkways and pool shade trees (recently sawed down). We would stay again."

"The room was very clean and included both a refrigerator and a microwave. The air conditioning worked well, and the staff had even pre-cooled the room before my arrival, which was a nice touch. The rate was very reasonable, and there was plenty of parking available. I stayed here while visiting the parks around Montrose and had a pleasant experience. I would stay here again."

"Need a simple clean room for a good price? I’ve stayed here twice and would recommend it. You just back up your vehicle and unload your stuff right into your motel room without the hassle of a lobby, elevators or hallways… the way it used to be! No frills for a restful night before hitting the road again. It’s a nicely renovated motel with clean rooms."

"We were tired of being around all the tourists and wanted something that said “Welcome to Colorado”. This was the place. We received emails from the resort with detailed directions on driving and registration that were easy to follow. The five mile drive up the gravel road took a little longer than expected because a flock of sheep that decided they needed to cross the road in front of us! We had dinner in the restaurant that was good. Many locals were there eating as well. It happened to be close to 90 degrees at 4:00 when we arrived and since there is no air conditioning it took awhile for the room to cool down after the sunset. A fan in the window was provided. The room was up dated and cute, although a little small. It would have been nice to have a chair in the room to have a place other than just the bed to sit on. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to others."
