"This hotel feels average for the price point. The rooms are small but clean. The bathroom sink only had very hot water, which was inconvenient. Breakfast was not included in my rate; when I chose to try it, the selection was limited and items were not being refilled, and service was quite slow. The staff were friendly, but the team seemed understaffed."

"Stayed here in October 2025 on a business trip where I had meetings at the University of Toronto nearby. The property managers were super-responsive via text messaging, including making sure my arrival & check-in/obtaining the room keys went smoothly. Clean, great location right next to U of T, & super walkable with tons of dining nearby. Checkout was easy, and my deposit was returned as promised with no issues. Would stay here again!"

"This is a charming old house. However, our room was very small and pretty tired-looking. There were a lot of steps—don’t stay here if you have any mobility issues. Judging by the fact that there were 2 fans in our room, I’ll bet they don’t have AC either. The woman at the front desk was charming and helpful, and the location near the centre of town, and the subway, was good. "

"Very nice hotel overall. Staff was friendly and professional. Room was clean and in good condition. My only gripe was with the suite I booked. I have stayed in a non-suite previously. While the suite was much larger, it felt more like the room was just spaced out more. Being open concept, the bed and seating area were simply pushed farther apart, leaving an empty space the size of a small dance floor in the middle.
