"Hotel hall needs vacuumed, I don't want to go barefoot in the room the floor is old and gross. The window looks i to a trailer park. The lights have broken shades and old cords hanging out. Reception area has an awesome plant growing all over it but over all feels old and run down."

"The Blackwell is currently a hotel and event center. I was told the house was constructed in 1905 and for several years operated as a B&B, which is pretty close to what we experienced for our one night stay! Great breakfast and amenities! Our bedroom was small but very comfortable. I took lots of pictures because it was so beautifully restored!

"We stayed two nights. Check-in was very friendly and easy. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Pillows were good having the couch was wonderful. Breakfast was good and a good variety. They have a small bar with a little menu of food, which I would recommend either chicken sandwich and wings along with their strawberry shortcake. All the staff we ran into were pleasant, inviting and delightful."

"Would have been great if the housekeeping staff hadn't pounded on the door at 8am. We arrived very late at 2am and their early morning wakeup ruined our much needed sleep. There also wasn't any soap and dirty towels left in the room. Won't stay here again bc of these issues. Unfortunate because everything else was fine."
