"Beautiful hotel! Just in the heart of the old city in Montevideo! Super clean, really good beds, very comfortable, the staff really friendly and very educated, they offer some fruit and other things as snacks, we particularly enjoyed the shots of Grappamiel that they keep available for guests. The place is a really well kept antique colonial house, the furnite, the deco and the environment are just delightful, you almost don't want to go out of it and stay just there all the time! "The hotel reception and dining room were very modern looking, however the room itself (we had a suite) was very dated and was not really set up for modern needs, e.g. there was only one accessible power socket in each room and it was located on the far side so phones had to be charged on the floor. The hotel itself was conveniently located close to the old town for historic sites and the wonderful port market."
