"Good location and had a good nights sleep, however their food quality is very poor. I ate 3x breakfasts and 2x evening meals and each meal the quality was poor..your chef/ cook needs to be retrained on quality of taste and freshness of the products… everything tastes as if it’s been cooked previously then microwaved when needed, £12 cheese burger, that tasted like rubber, in a FF bun that was as tough as the burger.. breakfast was £9 precooked and overcooked.Staff try a meal yourselves and hopefully you will understand. Freshness and quality of the food would put me off staying again. Trust me giving the customer a hearty meal at start or at the end of the day will bring you more custom. "

"Expect a hotel of this standard and price to have a bar open to residents until a reasonable time, the last 3 times I have stayed here the staff stopped serving at 10.15 despite signage clearly stating that the bar is open until 11.00"

"Room was clean and as needed. I did unfortunately not have towels in my room but went to reception and requested some, the lovely reception lady delivered them to my door. My main complaint is with the breakfast. When I went to breakfast, I was informed it was a 20 minute wait for breakfast. I requested a bacon or sausage sandwich to go as I only had 10 minutes. I was told everything is cooked fresh and even a to go sandwich will take 20 minutes. I was offered a bag to take some pastries which I did but left a little disappointed at paying for just some pastries. I did also request some oat milk for my to go coffee and again, informed they only had soya. I understand they had the option for a milk alternative but only having the option of cows milk or an allergen option wasn’t ideal when I can not drink soya. I felt the value was a bit rubbish considering I left with some pastries and a yogurt. I travel for work and stay in hotels several nights a week and haven’t incurred this issue elsewhere so don’t think I was being demanding. If you’re staying for work as I was and just want an express breakfast, I would advise to not bother paying for breakfast. Overall, it was okay, nothing fancy but breakfast left me a little empty! "

Free parking, friendly check in, beautiful restaurant and bar, amazing food, clean bedding, room and bathroom, amazing bed, quiet stay…literally cannot fault it in any way. Already planning our return stay for afternoon tea. Thanks to all the staff there."
