We arrived at 3:30pm but couldn’t get into the hotel until 5pm, as the hotel was closed until then. The room was good but no tea / coffee in the room. The reception was very helpful and friendly, but it would have been good to have the menu in English as well as French, as my wife ordered her meal without knowing it included scallops as there was no mention of this on the menu and scallops don’t agree with her, otherwise the meal was very good, as was breakfast.

Hôtel situé à proximité de Châteaudun (+/- 15 minutes en voiture) dans un charmant petit village. Etablissement calme possédant un restaurant. Très bon confort. Petit déjeuner avec un choix relativement large. Bilan très positif de cette soirée dans le cadre d'un déplacement professionnel.

Belle découverte

Séjour très agréable et bien que les chambres ne soient pas climatisées et que nous étions au plus fort de la canicule la proximité de la rivière Loir et un jardin bien ombragé nous a permis de passer 2 nuits réparatrices. Village très agréable et animé meme le dimanche avec beaucoup de magasins ouverts.

Service à revoir. Du faux luxe

À presque 100€ là nuit, tout est économie dans cet hôtel : deux pauvres petits flacons de shampoing dans la salle de bain , un petit déjeuner facturé en supplément à 12€ très peu achalandé sans pain frais ( et prédécoupé ), sans fromage, sans œufs ... il faut arriver tôt (8h30 9h45 le WE ... 8 heures 9 heures la semaine ) et on nous fait comprendre qu’il est temps d’en quitter la salle alors que une tartine encore à la bouche les tables sont débarrassées et les nappes enlevées . Impossible de mettre du chauffage dans la chambre ou la salle de bain , nous avons eu froid ... et bien sûr on entend parfaitement la vie des voisins . Du faux luxe .

Super service og høj værdi for pengene.

Vi kom til hotellet for en. Imødekommende receptionist. Kun fransktalende men alt gik super. Dejlig restaurant med god mad. Morgenbuffet i den dyrere ende, men alt perfekte Beliggenhed centralt i byen. Høj værdi for pengene.

Pleasant hotel with a good restaurant

Very old hotel that has been refurbished to modern standards. Bedrooms are comfortable (and quiet), bathrooms are modern but the showers are a nightmare and there is nowhere to hang a towel!. The hotel has a large car park and a quiet garden on the banks of Le Loir. Breakfasts are typical continental, more fruit would be nice but don't expect hot food. Dinner in the restaurant was very good, we ate there on three successive evenings.

We had stayed in the hotel last year and wanted to return but we found this visit a little disappointing as the service was more off hand and a bit sloppy, plus dinner was served in the cramped, noisy bistro instead of the lovely dining room. Had to check the bill carefully, as we had been charged twice for dinner and wine!
