"Perfect location to explore the area. We were there for the Llangollen Round - a 35 mile event - and it was the perfect place to begin. We had an amazing outdoor space which we used all the time as the weather was kind to us. We ate outside too as there wasn't a table for 4 accessible without having to move furniture about in the lounge. "The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available."

"Really well decorated and maintained property. Christmas tree and hamper a lovely seasonal touch. Very accommodatimg host who agreed to a later check out time without additional charge. Only issues were some noise from neighbours upstairs (which is often the case in houses converted into flats) and whilst the flat was generally very clean some vacuuming had been missed when it had last been cleaned."
