"The carpet was filthy and my foot and socks black. The furniture was outdated by decades and the TV reception was terrible and channel selection was poor. It was almost equivalent to a Motel 6. I have stayed at Embassy many times but this was the worse condition I have seen in the rooms."

"The room was fine, clean, although it had the smell of air fresheners trying to cover up the smell of skunk. The a/c worked great. But the deadbolt on the door was jammed and didn’t work, we just used the security latch."

"The entrance to the Westin is gorgeous and grand! But...when you check in at the lobby and registration, you are unexpectedly transported to this very cheap, disorderly and unattractive area! The hotel rooms were very tired with old squishy mattresses (where were those Westin "Heavenly" beds?!) and the furnishings were homely and all bunged/chipped up ): I could never go into the adjacent adult pool to swim and enjoy the ambience, as the pool was very small, crowded and dirty. The surrounding "resort" grounds were more like an overwhelming bird sanctuary as the loud Canadian Geese have taken over the property and are squawking and pooping everywhere, including the river-like water scapes & fountains throughout the resort that are now filthy and stagnating with this bird poop turning the water a murky pale green! This place needs a complete overhaul, clean up and upgrade - and a plan to get rid of the Geese! "

"Convenient to great restaurants and Indian Wells Tennis. Nice clean pool area, and 1 bedroom stay was comfortable. Only there a couple days, so didn't take in many amenities."
