"The Lani Kai looks great after hurricane repairs. The grounds in back, the pool area, and redesigned bars on the ground level look great. Rooms were nice and clean and the staff everywhere were very attentive and accommodating. Jayne in the Sun Deck and Island View restaurant is terrific. She works 14 hour days by choice waiting tables during the day and bartending at night and always has a smile on her face. Just a super friendly person. Great jib Lani Kai! Can’t wait til next time."

"Strongly suggest the shuttle it takes you out to a secluded beach area!! The hotel, in my opinion is perfectly located. Close to shops, restaurants, and walking trails. Vanderbilt Beach area is close by car but far enough away if you’d rather not deal with the congestion. "

"The rooms were okay, the beds were a little uncomfortable and the pillows were super thin. When asked for extra pillows we were told there weren’t any available. The sink in the kitchen area was poorly designed due to the faucet being too big that when you turn it on it’s spilling over the counter.The “complimentary breakfast” consists of prepackaged boiled eggs, yo plait yogurt and oatmeal packets. The hallways also reeked of marijuana. Overall the hotel was subpar. "
