"House keeping was great. This property is within uber distance to merchants square plus the shuttle runs until 9pm except for Sunday nights. We were a little disappointed by the AC unit in our room it never seemed to cool down the space."

"I stayed in a tavern room, which was right on Duke of Gloucester Street, in the middle of historic Williamsburg. It was a very cool experience, staying in this historic property for one night. The room had two doors: one inside the building and one (that doesn't open) on the street side. It was a bit unsettling to have someone trying to open my door from the street late that evening. "Tom and Sue are excellent hosts. If you love American history, this is the place to stay. The house is very well appointed with historical artifacts. It is a great jumping of point for all that Williamsburg (and Yorktown/ Jamestown) has to offer.
We stayed 4 nights and it was well worth it.
Breakfast was great every morning. I loved that Tom (and Sue, when she was available) would sit with us at breakfast. They are great conversationalists."

"I was staying on the first floor. People were smoking in the room above me. This is a nonsmoking hotel. I alerted the front desk three times and nothing was done. We had to check out and get another hotel at 11:45pm with two children. I was told to “take it up with Expedia” when I refused to pay for the night. I am not one to write reviews but this was such a terrible experience. Don’t stay here."
