"The host was extremely helpful and very communicative. She is a 5 star host and had some nice snacks and beverages available for us when we arrived. However, the room itself had mold on the shower door and some type of allergen in the bed sheets as my wife got sick after the one night stay. I would stay there again but the place could use better cleaning."

Located outside the city on a thoroughfare, there's not much places to eat, but we were concerned about parking and proximity to the airport - it is indeed a few minutes drive. "Our stay in Catania was great. The hotel manager went above and beyond helping us on multiple occasions. The area and views from the hotel were less than scenic but a short walk away was the dining, shopping, and historic areas. It was a little unnerving to find the hotel lobby door was locked on the inside so we could not exit without the desk clerk and his key when leaving early."
