"We enjoyed our time in Conwy and at the Castle Apartment very much. The facility was clean and stocked with everything we required for our stay of three days. However, the thing we appreciated most about the listing in the end was its location. We were within a short walk of the Castle, the city walls, the waterfront quay, Plas Mawr, the Royal Cambrian Academy and a myriad of restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. Relatively short drives were needed to reach other places of interest to us:...

"12 friends staying for a 60th birthday, the house is spotless & great layout. Seats for all in the lounge & openplan kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. Only an 8 minute walk to shops, pubs & restaurants. Would stay here again."

"It's a very nice quiet picturesque place in the countryside. The accommodation was excellent, it was very clean and comfortable with plenty of room for four people. We even had peacocks to keep us company. I can certainly recommend Conway Valley cottages."

"Lovely stay. The room was spacious and clean. Air con was a bit pathetic, and because you can’t open the windows, the room was hot and stuffy. The staff did source us a fan however. Loved the black out blinds. Great choice for breakfast.
The hotel is in a reasonable location if you’re going to be visiting multiple places, but be aware there is nothing immediately around it. You will have to drive. Also be aware the spa facilities are not included in the hotel costs as is implied. It’s extra, and the facilities and opening hours are very limited.
Overall a good stay, with a few disappointments."
"Spent a one night stay in a family with my two 14 year olds. Check in was a bit slow, waiting in the bar area for around 10-15 minutes early evening, before a staff member could see to us. Our room was in a separate building and was newly refurbished. It was spacious with a large bed and sturdy bunks, all important WiFi for the kids! Decoration was cosy and comfortable. Tea making facilities were welcomed. Had a quiet nights rest.
We ate our evening meal in the restaurant. We were served quickly and the food was delicious- steaks & burgers being ordered. Good size portions, Table’s weren’t cleared anywhere without asking and we could sense frustration of some guests but we weren’t too bothered. We finished off with a ‘brick’ of sticky toffee pudding. We all rolled to bed stuffed!
The outside areas of the hotel were pleasant, lots of seating, pretty flowers, twinkly lights. We didn’t bring our dog but it looked like they’d be well catered for.
Breakfast was pleasant with lots to choose from and again delicious. The morning staff were super helpful and friendly.
We took the opportunity to visit Swallow Falls being right opposite. Spent about half an hour there taking some pictures.
All in all, good location for the town and visiting Snowdonia. An enjoyable brief stay. Would certainly book again."
"The rooms was really comfortable and clean. Everyone was very friendly and had the best recommendations for the area. It was really lovely place to stay"
"Great Location for a relaxing stay with my gf. Nice rooms, comfortable beds, good space.
Could be better with more loungers in pool and spa area to relax next to and breakfast was okay but nothing special."
"This spa hotel was an amazing find. We went from “let’s have an impromptu family trip to Wales for the weekend” to “let’s eat delicious food, get massages, enjoy the hydrotherapy circuit, and beachcomb”. Would absolutely stay there again."
"Lovely place. Clean. Helpful staff.
Traditional cooked breakfast was very nice. The breakfast buffet was also good, with excellent granola.
Would have liked a separate shower, instead of a combined shower/bath, but that's a minor gripe.
I didn't use the spa, so can't comment on that."
