"Fab cottage right in the heart of the town, literally yards from the main street and the harbour. Cottage very cosy with every amenity needed. Bedroom and bathroom outstanding. Parking on street free and unrestricted, no resident parking permits so park wherever you find a space, many properties have do not park sign in windows these are not valid. Parking is a bit tight though. Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay."

"This Hotel was a brilliant find first of all because parking is always my biggest issue. The car park is big and there were plenty of parking spaces even though the hotel seamed to be relatively full. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly guy who guided us to reception. The owner Andy signed us in and was very friendly and gave us helpful instructions. The room was extremely clean and tidy, Lovely sized bathroom with the choice of shower or a bath tub. Bedroom was modern and spacious and a lovely view of the main road so you could sit on the window and watch the world go by. Also a 5 minute walk in to the heart of the main town. The traffic noise didn't bother us at all as there was secondary glazing. Nice touches like a well stocked kettle tray fan and Hairdryer. Room was very quiet and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was spot on with the choices of cereals, juice, croissants etc and a choice of cooked breakfast including eggs Benedict. Overall the entire building was modern and very well maintained. Would we come back again? Most definitely. Would like to thank Andy and Shirley for all their hard work in making my partners birthday break a memorable stay."

"Had a great stay. Room was at the back so it wasn't noisy. Food was good quality. It wasn't buffet style breakfast but it's very filling till evening if you get the porridge and English breakfast combo. Clean room. Love the bathroom which looked recently renovated. Parking is in front of the hotel, on the street but rate was good. You only need to pay between 10am and 4pm. Great location for the boat tour, train tour, bus tours and pier/funfair. The stops are right in front of the hotel. We didn't have a dog but it looks very dog friendly. Our room and guest area/restaurant did not smell of pets which was great. Would recommend."
