Copacabana beach itself is lovely, it is stony so take swim shoes to help get into the sea. The issue is that it is expensive for sun loungers and food, so if possible take your own drinks and snacks and also parasols we were only in Dubrovnik for a few days but with young kids we needed to get them some shade so ended up paying 350 kunas (£45) for two sun loungers the day after there were no loungers available only beds and a bed was 700 kunas (£90), so if you don’t take your own stuff be prepared to be ripped off
