"We had a walk out room with a beach view which was beautiful. Jamie who helped us with the kayaks was very nice and informative. Outdoor pools were nice, bummer the hot tub was not working. Downfall to the property, not enough beach chairs to accommodate guest and day pass visitors. "

"The rooms were nice, our room only had the 2 beds and microwave and fridge. No hairdryer so make sure to bring one. It is about a 15 minute drive to Clearwater which was nice to eat. There were not any shops in a walking distance but the beach was right on property!! "

"We stayed here for 4 nights in March 2026. The location is absolutely fantastic - steps away from beautiful downtown Dunedin. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, modern and spacious. We’ve stayed in several places around Dunedin and this was definitely my favourite thus far. Keep up the great work!"

"The most positive aspect of the hotel is it seems rather new, well built and is very quiet. The room was clean, temperature control was great and in room tv/entertainment also great. Staff is friendly and helpful.
The negatives, which are not really deal breakers for me were the location. It’s kind of in an industrial park. The pool area is extremely small. The housekeeping is slightly lacking. Apparently they only make the bed and take out trash. They didn’t replace the empty tissue box, which...

"I was pleasantly surprised as how nice this place was! I have no complaints! If I had to find the smallest thing was no minimal dishes and utensils in the room however they did provide paper and plastic in the lobby.
Walk out to the beach! Nice courtyard and pool.

"So many issues with our room, most importantly the main door that wouldn't lock and would allow anyone to walk in without a key. Room in general and mattress were very dirty, lights didn't work, etc. Staff seemed to not be very motivated to get the items remedied. Hilton Honors text concierge was pretty unresponsive for most of the stay. Wife was very disappointed and stated we won't be staying at Hilton DoubleTree properties in the future."
