"Beautiful, historic property with a fabulous pool. But rooms desperately need an upgrade. They are dark, heavy, and way overstuffed with velvet and brocade, which is not what one wants in the tropics. The whole property looks like it could seriously use a deep cleaning."

"The major issue was moderate amount of mold in the bathtub area. The furniture was old and scratched and old bottles and leftover containers were present under/behind bedside table. The manager at the desk was friendly and polite, He was fine"

"Stayed one night. Had the basic amenities and staff was friendly. Room was dirty and clearly not cleaned prior to our check-in. We found a cigarette butt inbetween the mattress and bedframe. The tables and flat surfaces weren't wiped down and had some residue on them. The duvet had dried questionable stains on it. The bathroom sink was dirty and the shower drain had debris still stuck in it. The walls were dirty and could use a fresh paint job. "

"A true Boutique Hotel where you see the same friendly faces day to day and want to spend time there. The location is perfect to walk around to all of the great shops and restaurants in Coconut Grove, but definitely enjoy Bellini and the Creperie in house!"

"I loved the feel of the property. It’s gorgeous and located in a very nice neighborhood. They do have open areas and the noise can filter up to the rooms, but there was nothing late into the day. The reception personnel were friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was really cute. I wanted my server to be just a bit more attentive, but it was not poor service by any means. My bed was comfortable and the rooms are spacious. I don’t care for showers with no doors, but most of the water managed to...
