"I have stayed at b ocean multiple times over the years and this past visit was rather disappointing. At check in there was a lot of chaos in general and the girl who checked me in messed up our reservation. It did get fixed but she then tried to have me pay for someone else’s room hold and said it was the same amount of money so it was no big deal. The guy at the desk told her no. She then gave us directions to the wrong area of where we were staying and we needed to remind her to give us our beach bands. Our room was not exactly what it’s been in the past either, which was disappointing. We don’t need our room cleaned crazily or anything but we weren’t even given wash cloths to wash up with on the second day. We also came back to our room and the door was left cracked open. There seemed to be some issues too with electric because our ac kicked in and everything turned off and in the middle of the night it would not come on for a long time and the room would get super hot. And the staff in the restaurant downstairs for breakfast to check you in was just very unhelpful and we stood there after we had asked for a table and nobody helped us. It was odd. With that being said there was an amazing server at the pool restaurant outside who was extremely helpful and the property location is beautiful. There Weren’t any towels and the one lady was so kind and went to get us some and the people on the beach were also great. Again we’ve started numerous times and this was not the same"

"Great place. A little beat up around the edges but fine overall. Need coffee pot and coffee in room. Otherwise had everything we needed. Beach pool bar restaurant. Didn’t leave hotel for 2 days. Will return."

"I booked this hotel because of the ratings, but it feels more like a dumpy motel than a hotel. There’s no staff onsite, the rooms are extremely small, and the property is clearly showing its age. The only saving grace is having a Publix across the street. Never again."

"Clean room. The outdoor area was nice, but was not well kept. Guests littered throughout the day & area not tended too. Limit chairs and chairs on the beach had to be rented."

"Stayed at the Pelican in their King Ocean view room (304). The view was absolutely spectacular and our patio facing the pool was super cute! First night we ordered room service from ocean 2000(restaurant on site) and it arrived quickly and still piping hot! My husband and I had a great time here and will definitely be coming back!"

"No beach view but a block to the beach access. The staff is super friendly and help-full. Outdated but clean. We enjoyed the pool! Our stay was good overall. "

"We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Il Lugano - Marc on the front desk has excellent customer service & communication skills & is a really helpful guy. The only thing that leaves this hotel down is the breakfast which was repetitive & bland with minimal choice."
