"Room was clean and quiet. The Bed was comfortable and there were no off odors. TV remote was broken and obviously so but we didn't watch it anyway. The corridors were newly carpeted but still had somewhat of a bleak look at night and the room doors are a bit clunky, especially the key card reader which looked like a retro fit. The doors also banged loudly if left to swing closed. The breakfast was good but somewhat limited; scrambled eggs, sausage and soggy hash browns. They have a waffle maker which worked well, some yogurt, cereal, etc. The coffee was hot and of good quality. There's a mall across the street but with the exception of a Japanese restaurant next door there aren't a lot of chain type restaurant options that are super close. After checking out we found several local restaurants/bars that are within a mile or two in the "old town" section of Johnson City.. For the price point it was fine and would probably stay again although there's a La Quinta right next door which might be worth a look too."
"Most things were very good, but I have 3 things to note:
1. The electrical outlets were maxed out and moving appliance plugs around was impossible, plugs wouldn't go back in.
2. Light darkening drapes did not go all the way across the windows, so the light from outside shines in all night
3. At breakfast, the cream cheese was a large block that was not sealed and looked like it was simply placed back in the cooler uncovered at the end of each breakfast"
"I recently stayed in the suite. It was very clean and very neat, but there was not nearly enough lighting.. I could barely see into my suitcase. There needs to be way more lamps and overhead lights in these rooms."
"Room was clean, but this is a very bare bones hotel - no tissues in the rooms, large dispensers for shower gel/shampoo and hand soap - most not full enough to use
Beds were fairly comfortable, but the springs are very loud
Continental breakfast was very minimal as well - bread, bagels, coffee, tea, limited fruit, waffles and cereal - no real creamer, only powdered - utensils and paper products very cheap
Bath towels were very small and the shower curtain was not long enough to prevent water from splashing all over the floor
Housekeeping staff spoke no English so our room did not get cleaned when we told her to come back later
Front of hotel is damaged right above entrance - looks like it may collapse at some point"
