This hotel is NOT near the beach or trailhead as stated when we booked on Hotels.com (hopefully this will be corrected), in fact it will cost you 10,000cr ($16+ USD) round trip for a taxi if you don't have your own vehicle - if you do, it needs to be a 4X4 as the road is steep, rough, unpaved, and has a river crossing. "A little piece of heaven. Very close to the Corcovado National Park, you can walk there. Everyday we would go on a hike, as soon as you walk out of the hotel you start seeing monkeys and all sorts of wildlife. Heck, you don't even need to leave the hotel. We had a group of scarlet macaws constantly hanging out in a tree right outside our room. And a brave little monkey paid a visit one day as well. The food prepared by Chef Coco was amazing! Everything was sourced locally and made from scratch....
