Nice hotel close to the centre

Reasonable room, comfortable bed, though not much space for suitcases, reasonable bathroom, unfortunately we found a cockroach in the bathroom , but only one !

Drastically Overpriced

The Felipe II looks impressive on Hotels.com and is the most expensive hotel I stayed at during a tour of Argentina but it was very disappointing. On the positive side, my single room was a good size. However, the room was a bit shabby with mildew in the shower. There seemed to be a light missing in the bathroom too. My room was at the back of the building, looking onto the backs of other buildings. There were lots of pigeons there, and several balconies and landings were thick with pigeon droppings. All night, these birds were making a noise which disturbed my sleep. Also, every half an hour or so, a really loud air conditioning unit started up which didn't help. The breakfast was also poor. If you look closely at the photographs on the website you will see ham and cheese. Well, there wasn't any of that. You will also see a lovely display of fruit. That's there - but it's plastic. Not a good experience.

El desayuno muy rico, faltó la parte del desayuno celíaco. Habitación confortable pero se podría mejorar el colchón. Un poco chico. Hotel céntrico. Recomendable para una o dos noches.

Convenient location, excellent staff

Front desk staff was excellent in helping us meet with friends, providing city information, and just being friendly. Bartender was able to satisfy all our requests despite very limited English knowledge. Breakfast was adequate, but should have included fruit of some kind.

Muy buena atención en recepción. Encontramos algunas " cucas "en el baño. En el desayuno no había frutas. Tenían sólo un moso para todo y teniamos que hacer lugar el las mesas. Buen garaje. Y una exelente ubicación. El aire acondicionado viene X tubería y es muy débil el aire fresco.

Alojamiento adecuado para manejarte caminando

El alojamiento es adecuado, ideal para viajeros sin vehículo. Está en pleno centro. El personal es muy amable y está pendiente que la pases bien. La zona es muy ruidosa y en las habitaciones se escucha todo el bullicio del hotel. No tiene ascensor, de modo que se complica trasladar tu equipaje. El desayuno es modesto. Lo mas destacable, ubicación y calidez del personal.

Very clean and comfortable room. Location was great...everything I wanted to see and do was within walking distance. The staff was pleasant and helpful but their English wasn't the best...we managed just fine with my limited Spanish. Would stay again.

muy bien. El personal del hotel fue muy amable con un trato cordial. Supieron informarme con precisión que transporte publico utilizar para desplazarnos a lugares de interés. Esta fue nuestra primeras vacaciones fuera de nuestra Provincia alojándonos en hotel. Si bien tuve mis temores, pude comprobar que se respeto los precios que me brindaron a través de hoteles.com al hacer la reserva.Gracias

Nuestra primera salida en familia

Nos fue muy bien gracias a Dios ya que con mis hijos y mi señora salíamos todos los dias a pasear. Personal del hotel nos recomendó un restauran a la vuelta del hotel sobre calle Emilio Olmos donde se come muy bien y a un precio razonable. Nos gusto el hotel y todas las personas que trabajan allí son muy amables. El hotel cuenta con cochera para el vehículo
