"We visited during winter, so it was a quieter time of year.
The biggest disappointment was the housekeeping policy. Rooms are only cleaned for stays of eight nights or longer, and no vacuum cleaner was provided in the apartment. For families or anyone staying for a week, it's difficult to keep sand and dirt under control without basic cleaning equipment. It seems unreasonable to expect guests to either live with dirty floors or pay extra for cleaning.
The laundry facilities were also disappointing and did not match the standard of the hotel. They were located in a car park area on Level 5 and consisted of just two large industrial washing machines and a single dryer for a complex with hundreds of apartments. During the busy summer season, I can only imagine how difficult it would be to access them. It would be much better to provide several standard-sized washing machines and additional dryers.
Late checkout is available, but it costs $50 per hour, which is quite expensive.
The kitchen was generally well stocked, but it was missing some basic essentials, including a large kitchen knife, a sponge and dishwashing detergent to keep the sink clean. For longer stays, especially with children, guests need to purchase many basic cleaning supplies themselves.
Overall, the location is great, but there are several small improvements that would make longer family stays much more comfortable."
