"My room had a mould issue. The bathroom extract fan has clearly not worked for a long time and the room being being quite cold, the warm moist air goes into the bedroom and condenses making the mould grow that bit better.
Breakfast was amazing, dinner was fine but the piece of frozen fish that I had (fish of the day) had a peculiar freezer burn taste to it. Not bad enough to send back, but also not great "

"We had stayed previously and this time upgraded to a Silver Seaview Room. While small, it was perfect for our stay and the beds are really comfortable. Huge window allowed in the morning sunrise and have a perfect view of the seafront.
Staff are always friendly and helpful, and this hotel is dog friendly which is a bonus for us as it means we can take our two with us.
There are several options for parking, either on site (£10 and you hand in your keys) or free permit parking for large off-site car parking about a 10-15 minute walk. "

"We both had a truly wonderful stay at The Hillbrook in Sherborne. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly & made us very welcome to everything exceeded our expectations. The studio apartment was exceptional—beautifully presented, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed with comfort and attention to detail in mind. It felt both luxurious and welcoming, making it easy to relax and fully enjoy our time there. The peaceful setting added to the experience, and the overall atmosphere was calm and inviting. Every aspect of our stay reflected care and quality, and it’s clear that a lot of pride goes into maintaining such high standards.
We would highly recommend The Hillbrook to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay in Sherborne, and we very much look forward to returning in the future."
