Nice-looking chateau, poor welcome.
Clean and nice if small room. The big problem is the chaotic and stressful way of checking you in and not really ‘looking after you’. No front desk, no real welcome, though the young lady I eventually found did her best. In off-peak time at least, it’s worse than checking-in to a budget hotel.

Ace is great for a budget hotel. Very clean but very basic rooms with good not great bedding and nothing with only paper cups in the room gets 5 stars.

Value for money
This was a one-night stay after going to the theatre, so we just wanted somewhere cheap and cheerful. This hotel was 5 mins walk to the theatre, easy access and friendly staff. Room was small, but clean. We had all we needed, so good for the relative price (under 50€).
