"The whole place was charming and full of character. Check-in was fast and reception took us to our room personally. The room was beautifully decorated. The bathroom was modern and clean. A nice selection of teas and biscuits. This is not a negative but something to be aware of; since the building is older and refurbished, the stairs are a little narrow and lean so make sure you are comfortable with navigating not so perfect stairs if you choose to stay in the upper levels. Back to the positives: the garden area was lovely with plenty of chairs to sit and enjoy, there were EV stations available, a small pub and restaurant to relax and unwind (we didn’t try it out, but the smells coming from the kitchen were wonderful). Most importantly, right in the heart of the village so you can walk to everything."
