"Mixed reviews overall, my room was generally pretty clean however, I found a hair in the bathroom that definitely wasn't mine as it was about 6 inches long onnthe tiles of the shower, the window didnt stay open without wedging something underneath it, decor was tired and the TV was no bigger than a PC monitor and looked lost on the wall and wasnt vaguely visible from the bed and everytime the fridge in the room clicked on and off it turned the TV off and on again (annoying to say the least). "Cooked breakfast was exceptional and good choice of cereal on continental, although would benefit from the addition of berries and yoghurts to the menu. Food at night was also fantastic. Great prices too."

Poor points: The room was pretty sparse and lacking any warmth or character as were the rest of the facilities. We didn’t try the Spa or Golf, so can’t comment on this. gym, sauna, hot tub type facilities (which I would be happy to pay for) are pretty standard in most ‘Spa’ hotels so I felt a bit cheated. "Staff were lovely and breakfast was well cooked. Surprised it was a buffet breakfast. We had a really good rate so absolutely no complaints. It was starting to look a little tired, with build up in the corners of the bathroom around the shower, and chips in the walls and paintwork of our room. The view on the top floor is lovely and made for a nice touch to visiting family where I’d originally grown up."

"Terrible experience neighbour knocking on thin walls no tv or music but still caused upset in stay as walked into room once knocked door and asked when leaving hotel? Everyone paid for room invasion of privacy and I’m single mum with 6 yr old in room. No security or cameras to verify just friend few doors away called reception."
