"I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Laurel, MS and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The biggest issue during my stay was the cleanliness of the room. When I arrived, the room did not appear to have been properly cleaned, and several areas looked like they had been missed by housekeeping.
The carpet in the room was especially horrible. It looked very dirty and worn, which made the entire room feel unclean and uncomfortable. Seeing the condition of the carpet made it hard to relax and feel confident about the overall cleanliness of the space.
Cleanliness is one of the most basic expectations when staying at a hotel, and it was disappointing that it didn’t meet that standard. The staff I interacted with were polite, but the condition of the room definitely needs improvement. I hope management addresses the housekeeping and carpet issues so future guests have a better experience."

"Never book this hotel, even much worse than any motel- smelled disgusting. And they are BIG liars- it showed available rooms when we booked online, but when we arrived, they said they were out of rooms and sent us to a better hotel (they literally told us it would be a more expensive one). Indeed, it was a scary, terrible place with everything broken."

"The hotel itself was very nice and the staff were all very nice and accommodating. Issue we had was the traffic noise from the freeway and people in the hallway being loud while visiting past 10pm. I’m not sure if it was fleas or what, but I kept feeling something bite me all night and found little red insect bites on me next day. "
