"This is a wonderfully quirky and unique place to stay. The accommodation is just perfect. Hosts Steve and Elaine have created a tranquil and idyllic tiny retreat at Robin Hood Tower. Comms were great and Steve showed us around, sharing local history and top tips for our trip. Canal side walks were glorious. A magical stay."

"The Snug was very comfortable and well equipped. It was also very clean. I could not work the shower but I did not contact the owner so I am sure it would have been sorted if I had. It was only three nights and there was a bath so I did not. It was well located, quite near to Matlock Bath. The bed was comfortable and it was well decorated throughout. "

"Very central for bars etc. And a lovely courtyard with restaurants and live music at weekends. They have a convenient parking deal not far away. A beautiful building with excellent rooms. The breakfast was amazing and came with a great deal included with our room. We will definitely be staying again.

"Room was comfy and clean. But the sink was strangly set and not comfortable to use. Shower was also strange to handle. Breakfast was ok, helpful staff."
"Room was good. Everything worked. Good Aircon.
Breakfast good but no croissants or pastries. Complained and said had been too busy and make more!
Overall good stay."
"The reception staff were very friendly and helpful when asking for additional pillows ( only 1 pp provided). The breakfast was good and tasty and plenty of attentive staff if needed.
The hotel rooms however are very tired with very poor decor standards. Tiles in the bathroom were miss-matched and grubby and flooring lifting in places. Was surprised to have to pay £5 to park the car as a resident though"
"We had a really lovely stay at the Radisson Blu Sheffield. The hotel is beautifully designed, very clean and the rooms are a great size. Check-in was really easy and the customer service throughout was excellent.
We were also really impressed with the housekeeping team. We accidentally left some money behind in the room after checking out, and it was found, logged and we were contacted through the hotel’s lost-property system. It was very reassuring and says a lot about how trustworthy and professional the team are.
The only issue we had was getting to the hotel and the parking. A number of the surrounding roads were closed, so finding the hotel initially was a bit of a challenge. We also had to take a longer route to get to the car park, which added around 10 minutes to the journey. Once parked though, the walk back to the hotel was only about five minutes, so it wasn’t too bad.
Apart from that, we had no complaints at all. Great location, lovely hotel, spacious rooms and excellent service. We would definitely stay again."
