"The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "

"Walkable distance to the centre of Falmouth. Loads of free parking when we went. One occasion. we parked on the road a little up hill (2 minutes walk). Its a lovely cottage, I hadn't considered the Victorian steep steps up to the first floor (regarding my 80+ YO mum), but equally might be testing if one had little kids. Other than that, we loved it cheers."

"Just returned from a 7 night stay at Savoy view apartment
The accommodation was excellent, everything needed for the stay was provided and the rooms were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean.
We arrived early after a 6 hour drive and expected we’d have to wait around a few hours until check in but we were surprised to notice that the key had been made available a lot earlier which was lovely.
The property is in an ideal location for exploring the beaches and coves on the Lizard peninsula....

"Large clean side of building room view of the road .
Old building so has a sloping floor .
Breakfast was okay a help yourself type . Bed was comfortabe enough. It was suitable for my one night stay at an average price for the time of year."
"The hotel is well situated on the main road in Long Rock with parking. It was a good price with breakfast. There's a bus stop nearby for buses to Penzance, St Ives, Truro etc. The hotel has a bar for residents and locals. The room was basic but clean with a comfortable bed, tea/coffee supplies, a small wall mounted TV and a sink. The staff were friendly and helpful.
I booked through Hotels.com and it wasn't obvious that the bathrooms are shared, in fact there's no mention of it. I did book a 'basic twin room' and I expected an en suite, although for the price I paid, maybe that was a stretch.
The downside of being on the main is a lot of traffic noise.
The wifi wouldn't connect in the room but it did downstairs in the bar."
"Pros:
- Location (5min from the beach & lovely pavillion gardens, quiet part of town but still only 10min walk to town centre)
- Friendly staff
Cons:
- The building is very outdated, the carpet is old, floors creak and doors slam in the night
- There was a waste water pipe right next to my window so I could hear every flush from above throughout the day and night
- The view from the window was a flat roof
- The breakfast was basic and old-fashioned (e.g. friend bread in the full breakfast, tinned fruit and cereal)
If it had cost at least £40 less/night this would have been ok but not for the price paid"

"Incredible!! Views were so nice, main room bar/tea room was so well done and relaxing. Breakfast was included, cold and hot options. Rooms are dated, carpeted. Would stay again, especially for this price"
