"Character"

"The room photos were misleading. We were hoping for a separated suite, but the beds were maybe 5' apart, so that was unexpected. The ice tub was stored behind the toilet and the windows on the 4th floor open entirely, which is super unsafe. Otherwise, the pool looked clean, the location to the river is beautiful, and the staff were friendly."

"The best thing about our stay for our family of 6 was that we had a room with a king bed and two queen beds at a reasonable price. (Hard to find usually (our kids were excited that no one had to sleep on a pull-out couch! The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was decent (better coffee than most hotels). The shower was just average - not a lot of pressure and the bedding could have been better but would definitely stay again as we had a nice stay."

"All was ok, but the king bed unit we booked was not available. So we got 2 queen unit instead."

"Very nice. Not enough bedding, but we had brought some with us for the 6+ guest room. Great location. Breakfast took a while because food had to be made frequently. I would stay again, though. Didn't get a chance to use the pool. Check out at noon, was amazing."

"Quirky resort. Lots of artsy stuff. But I paid $275 for one night. That didn’t include a bathroom, TV, or phone. Building is very old and historic but not well maintained and the community bathrooms smelled. Not for me."

The proximity to the highway is a huge plus for those working in the area, as it eliminates the hassle of driving through the city or navigating numerous streets to reach the hotel. "Very nice and clean accommodations. The breakfast was good with a nice variety of items. The pool was beautiful, though we personally prefer an indoor pool to protect from sun and other weather. We were surprised at the barking dog noise in the room next to us and assume that animals are allowed to be left alone. There is a need for this for those who travel. We were just surprised. Staff was very pleasant."
