"Had the whole family over of 12, we all had an excellent time."

"Lovely cabin with a very comfortable bed. A little tricky to find at first. WiFi was great. No cell service. Clean and neat with a warm and homey feel. Good communication. I would recommend this properly. "

"Good stay for the price."

"Overall, the property was wonderful my 15 year-old grandson loved going down to the river and walking across on the rocks in the evening we bought a eight dollar pack of four pieces of wood and the front desk had firestarter and loaned us a lighter to start it. Sat by the fire, listening to the river before bed. It was very nice and the front desk had wonderful suggestions for dinner and breakfast was very nice wide selection. The room was very clean. We did have some dirt that may have been...

"Thanks for not letting me know construction work would be starting at 7:30 am right across the hall, it was not a very good start to the day. How about asking the front desk to mention that important detail next time. If this is how Expedia gets low rates, I’ll find another company or pay full price next time."

"Courteous staff and good location."

"Wow! This is an older motel built in the heart of downtown Sylva. It was remodeled in 2024 and they did an excellent job. Once inside the room, you can't tell that you aren't in a much newer hotel. The outside is very well kept. The only thing that makes it feel older is the design of the building. Parking was plenty even on WCU homecoming weekend. Mackenzie, the young lady at the desk was extremely helpful and pleasant. Everything in the room was in excellent working order and the beds were...

"Vatash (if I remember the name correctly) was very personable. Room had good television options. Didn’t use WiFi, so reception was limited. Thermostat control was great. Quiet and safe. Walking distance to Sylva was good. Nice town with good restaurant options. No usb options, so bring a wall outlet adapter. Shower was good. Coffee in room. Sylva is a nice place to stay when visiting Cherokee. Dillsboro nearby. Be back next year"

"Good mix of the historic with some modern upgrades. Parking can be a little bit challenging, especially at dinner time."

"The bed didn’t have a comforter so all we had to sleep with was a sheet and I was cold all night. Not impressed"

"Disappointing Stay – Bugs in the Hotel Room I was very disappointed with the condition of my hotel room. I found ladybugs and ants on the ceiling, floor, and curtains. I took several photos as evidence. Finding insects throughout the room was unpleasant and made me feel uncomfortable during my stay. I expected a clean, well-maintained room, but this experience fell short of my expectations. Hotel management should take pest control and room inspections more seriously. I would not recommend...

"Sehr schöne Unterkunft, sehr nette Gastgeber, sichere und ruhige Gegend sowie gutes Gästeprofil. Ich fand die Kaffee- und Tee-Ecke hochwertig und super."

"Mediocre breakfast. No prepared hot items. No selection of fresh fruit except for a few small tasteless apples."

"Great stay!! Staff and breakfast was great!"

"Everything was clean and nice. Very convenient location."

"Staff was very rude told me no more rooms were available. I then went to the parking lot and booked with no problem. Then she wanted to act nice and apologize."
