"Disappointing for the cost. Besides the convenient location (although right by a major intersection so very busy), the hotel is old. They tried to renovate it but cut corners. Staff Ty was extremely rude and should not be in hospitality. Check in policy is full of surprises. (3.5%!charge for cc and $15 parking a day)They don’t clean the room for 3 days. AC unit was loud and not working. We won’t be coming back. If you’re looking for very basic and just a bed, , that’s fine."

"The staff stood out as everyone from the front desk to the housekeepers and the breakfast lady went out of their way to greet and ask about any concerns. The room amenities were a little disappointing, but the overall experience distanced that. I think you will pay much less than a full service hotel with their upgraded amenities, but the price difference equals or exceeds the slightly different amenities provided by a much more expensive hotel."

"Although the room was clean, it was very old and dated. It felt like I was living in the 1970s again. Bathroom in the king room only had a tub and toilet. The sink was in the room. The ac blown straight onto the bed causing me to have a stiff neck. Luggage holders were rusty. Beach access was awful. Huge pile of sand on top of the walkway. I mean around 5 feet or more. "Great location! Close enough to walk to everything in village. Great balcony. Covered parking and elevator. Strange furniture placement. Would be nice if updated and renovated but good overall."

"Hotel was clean, great location to walk to shops and restaurants. We requested a top floor room, but was told that because we booked with Expedia, they could not accommodate our request because Expedia assigns the room. We book through Expedia all the time and this was the first time they would not change our room. However, we had a pleasant stay."

"OMG. I did not expect this to be such a hole in the ground. Everything in the room was old, dirty, rusty and musty. It even smelled bad. At least the AC worked. I expected basic accommodations, but I did not expect it to be disgusting. I will never stay at another Red Roof Inn."
