"This hotel consists of 3 rooms in a 19th century house in the Garden District. The room (and it looked like the entire house)has recently been remodeled. Care was taken to keep the reno true to the original style of the house. The room was exceptionally clean, but small. The bathroom was very small--cruise ship lower cabin small, but everything worked. The vanity sink had an excellent lighted make-up mirror. The stairway to the rooms was long and steep. "We had such a great, relaxing stay here. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Every detail inside and out was gorgeous. We fully enjoyed having a drink out on the patio area right after we checked in and staying up late at the bar and talking to the guy who managed the property. We found out he grew up around San Jose which is close to us. He really made our first night so enjoyable. Our room was beautiful, very clean and quiet. "Jennifer the receptionist who checked us in, is very helpful with all questions to help both my husband and I, as first time visitors to Shreveport, Louisiana. The hotel does need upgrade and remodeling, from elevator with loud noise and stopped unexpectedly. There is nothing that will us back to this hotel ever. "The breakfast buffet was the highlight! The towels were thin and rough. The only microwave was located on the 9th floor, which was very inconvenient because our room was located on the 26th floor. Considering the hotel's ambiance and pricing, that was a let down."
