"The resort is in the middle of San Pedro Town, but feels like a private enclave with jungle like vegetation around the entrance and interior of the property. It is very well maintained and clean. The sargassum was bad while we were there. The poor maintenance guys were fighting a Sisyphean battle to keep the beach clean. The food at Pineapples is fine, but not noteworthy. "Wow, can't say enough good things about this place. I was there on a solo trip for three days, and it was just what I needed: clean, quiet, off the beaten path, but not too far that I ever felt unsafe. Woke up to a thunderstorm early in the morning, peeked out the front door, and I felt like I was in the jungle. 10/10 would stay again."

"This was the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. The first morning we had to take cold showers. The whole hotel had no hot water. Towels didn’t even dry us. They don’t have security at night so every night, someone was loud and obnoxious. The worst was our last night. Loud music and screaming until 3:30 am. I got no sleep. Breakfast “buffet” isn’t actually a buffet but a waffle thing, toast, eggs, and fruit that show up when the hosts arrive in the morning, but the time varies. Room was nice and clean. "This property was simply amazing. It was nice quiet tucked away but not to far from the party. The property staff were amazing from the time I booked until the time we departed. They assisted us to back and forth to beach complementary a back and forth to the water taxi to go on our excursions. The rooms were gorgeous just as advertised and very spacious. I will definitely be bringing my family back to just stay here and enjoy Belize."
