"It was an amazing experience at Prince Kyoto. The view from the room was breath taking. It’s one of the best experiences I have had staying at this hotel. "The hiking above Mii Dera temple was amazing. A lot of hiking options for outdoor enthusiasts. The Mii Dera temple is also not crowded and a joy to stroll around 20 minutes walk from hotel koo. "

"This hotel is the perfect serene escape from the bustle of Kyoto city. The staff are incredible, all spoke English and were so helpful and really made us feel welcomed and cared for the whole time. The included drinks are delightful and we were able to sample the full tea selection as well as several alcoholic beverages even during our dinner- which I would also highly recommend booking!"

"Staff was so helpful in every possible way. Hope I am lucky enough to find others like it elsewhere in Japan! "

"The AC was super dirty. Other than that the house was great. Location is also perfect with a nice restaurant across."

"It's a great location away from the busy life of the city. The lake is crystal clear and great to swim in though we did not see other swimmers. The rooms are small, yet suffice. I'll probably come back again. "

"Severely outdated hotel. Most definitely NOT a family hotel as it is a "love hotel" and NOT safe for families. Entire room covered in yellow nicotine and the smell was horrendous. "
