Good spaced rooms, room was a little cold but soon heated up once electric radiator was on. The pool was very dated and the changing rooms very small, but still good. The breakfast was brilliant, plenty of choice and hot!

Hotel is very nice from the outside but tired and in need of a refurb, room 212 the bath water wasn’t hot and the bathroom floods when you have a shower. Staff are pleasant enough.

A nice, clean place to stay. Only issue was the bed which could do with a new mattress as this was very uncomfortable to sleep on. Everything else, including location was spot on. Would definitely use again if mattress is replaced.

Turnberry apartments.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable and there was a couple of minor issues but when I contacted the owner he was straight on it immediately. I’d definitely recommend them.

"Until standardisation of weights and measures in the 18th century, a "mile" in Scotland could be a variable distance. Generally a Scottish mile was longer than a mile in England, a fact which was immortalised by Robert Burns in his poem "Tam o' Shanter" - "We think na on the lang Scots miles..."
